Slam Systems was built to solve a specific problem: security installations that look good on paper but fail in practice. We only deploy systems we would trust in our own buildings, working exclusively with manufacturers whose reliability we have proven across hundreds of real sites.
Our Story
Founded in 2019, Built on Decades of Experience
Slam Systems was founded in 2019 by Tarik Khamliche, drawing on over 20 years of experience in the security industry and 15 years in networking and IT. The company was set up to offer something the market was missing: a security installer that genuinely understands the technology it installs, from camera chipsets and VMS configuration to structured cabling and enterprise wireless networks.
Based in Hayes, Middlesex, we serve clients across London, Surrey, Kent, Buckinghamshire, and Middlesex. Since 2019, we have grown to protect over 200 businesses and have installed more than 5,000 cameras across sites ranging from independent retail units to large hotel groups.
Our clients include Radisson Blu and the Edwardian Hotels London group, where we have carried out large-scale Hanwha CCTV installations across multiple properties including The Londoner Hotel at Leicester Square. We also work with student accommodation operators, livestock markets, offices, and commercial warehouses across the region.

The Person Behind the Work
Tarik Khamliche
Managing Director, Slam Systems Ltd
Tarik Khamliche founded Slam Systems in 2019 after more than two decades working at the highest level of the security and networking industries. His career has given him a depth of technical knowledge that most installers simply do not have.
Before founding Slam Systems, Tarik led the technical support and presales team at D-Link, one of the world's largest networking equipment manufacturers. He then joined Hanwha Vision (at the time trading as Samsung Techwin) and served as European Head of Technical, a role he held for many years through the company's transition from Samsung Techwin to Hanwha Vision.
That background means Tarik does not just know how to install Hanwha cameras. He understands the firmware, the chipset capabilities, the VMS architecture, and the network infrastructure needed to get the best out of the equipment. When Slam Systems recommends a system, it is based on firsthand knowledge of how that technology performs in the real world.
Tarik holds over 20 years of experience in the security industry and 15 years in networking and IT, covering everything from enterprise structured cabling to managed wireless and video management systems.
